Gothic architecture

The “tower of Khalifa” (Burj Khalifa, Burj Khalifa ; previously – “Burj Dubai” (Burj Dubai), or “Dubai tower”) is the tallest skyscraper in the world . the height of 828 meters, 162 floors.

Dubai skyscraper-stalagmite has built up over 5 years. The construction of the skyscraper began in 2004 and was at a speed of 1-2 floors per week. The official opening of the tallest building on the planet, which was held on 4 January 2010, was watched by almost 2 billion people.

Burj Khalifa was named after the incumbent President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE; UAE) Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

The Cathedral Of Christ The Savior

The idea for the construction of a Grand temple, dedicated to the victory of the Russian people in the Patriotic war of 1812, was born back in those days, when the last French soldiers left Russia. But only five years later, on 12 October 1817, on the Sparrow hills, the solemn laying of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. According to the author of the first temple, the architect A. L. Vitberg, a Church situated on the highest point of Moscow had to be visible from any point of the city.
